By downloading, installing, or using any Skyfire Systems product or service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the products.
These Terms apply to Velocity, Forge, FamilyCloud, SkyFire Recovery, the Skyfire customer portal, and the skyfiresystems.com website (collectively, the "Services").
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable fees, Skyfire Systems grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes.
Velocity Free: Personal use on a single Mac. No commercial redistribution.
Velocity Pro: Personal or commercial use on up to 2 Macs per active subscription.
Velocity Lifetime: Personal or commercial use on up to 3 Macs. Licence key is non-transferable.
Forge SMB / Enterprise: Use within your organisation. Seat counts and machine limits apply per your plan.
FamilyCloud: Use by members of a single household or family unit.
You may not sublicence, sell, or rent access to the Services. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as required by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at security@skyfiresystems.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described below.
14-day refund window: If you are dissatisfied with a subscription or one-time purchase within 14 days of the original charge, contact us at billing@skyfiresystems.com for a full refund. No questions asked.
Cancellation: You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Circumvent digital rights management systems (DRM) for content you are not licensed to access
- Distribute, publicly perform, or broadcast media without the rights to do so
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers connected to the Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system
Velocity is designed to run games you own via compatibility layers. It is your responsibility to comply with the terms of service of each game and store platform you use through Velocity.
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, are owned by Skyfire Systems and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"Skyfire," "Velocity," "Forge," "ForgeMaint," "ForgeMachine," "ForgeCAD," "ForgeOps," "FamilyCloud," and "SkyFire Recovery" are trademarks of Skyfire Systems. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of all content you create using or store within the Services.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SKYFIRE SYSTEMS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Compatibility with specific games or third-party software is not guaranteed.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYFIRE SYSTEMS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
You may delete your account at any time via the customer portal. Upon deletion, we will remove your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post material changes on this page and, where required, notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
